Classic Boxlingual
You ever played Boggle or those word search games that use a grid on iMessage? Well it’s pretty much the same things.
Players create words that are at least three letters by swiping and connecting adjacent letters to score points on a 6×6 grid. Some die may even contain 2 letters.
Here’s the score breakdown:
- 3 letters – 10 pts
- 4 letters – 25 pts
- 5 letters – 100 pts
- 6 letters – 250 pts
- 7 letters – 500 pts
- 8 letters – +250/char
Boxlingual uses a standard dictionary so archaic and slang words may not work.
Multiplayer
Yes, you can even play with friends. And here’s how in five easy steps:
- Shake the virtual dice to randomize the board.
- Copy the board and send it to your friend.
- Your friend then pastes the board code on their end.
- Your friend then loads the board code on their end. You can confirm if you are all playing the same board by reconciling the letters on the corners of the board on your screen.
- Once confirmed, hit the “START CLASSIC” button at the same time. Compare after three minutes, whoever gets the highest score wins!
Themed Mode
Themed Boxlingual is combination of word search, crosswords, and classic Boxlingual. You may select from a variety of challenges.
Players have to find words or names related to the particular selected theme. There are definitions and hints on the side to help players. The number of characters in a word is represented by the number of question marks. Good luck.
